My journey with photography began as the yearbook editor in 11th and 12th grade, armed with a 1968 Yashica-D that flipped the world upside down in the viewfinder. That camera taught me patience, timing, and the magic of storytelling. By 1971, I had upgraded to a Canon F-1, and I was all in. I spent every spare moment in a makeshift darkroom, developing black-and-white film with trays, clothespins, and red lights crafted from construction paper. Eventually, life and career took me elsewhere, but my lens never left my side. From baby portraits and weddings to quiet architecture and wild landscapes, I shot what moved me.
In 2010, I crossed into the digital world and tumbled down the Nikon rabbit hole. After retiring in 2017, I took time to revisit over 5000 transparencies, negatives, and digital files. In 2024, I decided it was time to share the journey.
This gallery is a reflection of my creative eye across decades and continents. It’s not about a unique style—it’s about storytelling, memory, and imagination. These are the frames that built me.
