Artistic Photography & Narrative Redefined
Where imagination meets reality through vivid, detailed, and unique photographic art creations.

I will try to make this BIO less boring by not saying that I have a Bachelor of Arts in business management, a Master's in computer information systems, and a Doctorate in education. In the early years, I spent every free moment taking photography classes in a make-shift darkroom developing black and white film. I say make-shift because all we had in the late 1970s was a room, a bunch of trays, some clothespins, covered lights using construction paper, a black bag with hand slits to change out film magazines, and a Yashica D camera where everything you looked at through the view was upside down. Eventually, I purchased a Canon F-1, some serious {S}, and I was riding high. I waited until 2010 to succumb to the digital camera and fell into the Nikon rabbit hole.
Photography in the 1970s was a time of cultural and social change, and many new techniques and styles emerged. I did those adorable babies and wedding pictures on the side. When a gap in my timeline allowed me to wander through, I used my lens to shoot (what I enjoyed most), other stuff like buildings, and natural surroundings. Learning that it was impossible to earn a decent wage in the photography field, I applied those degrees to what we call the American way of working, the 40 to 60-hour career-type job (because the benefits come with the package). Also, there was the beginning of a radical shift from traditional black-and-white photography to color abstract photography focused on art and ideas. Photography slowly merged with art, from film to digital, and I never stopped using my lens.
My passion has always been photography, which brings me to the 21st century. I retired at the end of 2017. 2024 is the year I decided you could see what I have been up to over the last 30-plus years with my lens and all the places I have traveled to. Hopefully, I have chosen the best of over 5000 transparencies and films. It's cliche, but every photo tells a story. These are the skeletons that make me. I rediscovered my bench and am sharing with you not necessarily a unique style but my imagination of creative energy.
I hope you take advantage of and peruse my gallery. If you wish to purchase something for your private collection, many more selections are online. Enjoy!

Visual Wonders
Welcome to my gallery! I'm excited to share my work with you. Each project invites you into a world where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary, offering fresh perspectives that spark curiosity and emotion. Through my lens, fleeting moments become timeless narratives—woven with light, shadow, texture, and color—to create images that linger in the mind long after the first glance. Photography, to me, is more than just capturing a scene; it's about revealing unseen stories and evoking profound connections. Step inside and explore—let each frame draw you into a visual experience that transcends the lens. Click on the Gallery tab to see more of my work.
